Lutho Mkabile's Inspirational Journey
Lutho Mkabile, a member of the Finishing Group TV488 at TFG Maitland, has demonstrated exceptional qualities throughout his journey. His high levels of respect, integrity, commitment, and dedication stood out to Winifred Sinclair, one of our facilitators at Thandeka, who recalls his enthusiasm for learning and the effort he put into excelling in the course.
Lutho was seldom late, almost never absent, and actively engaged in class, asking insightful questions. He showed a genuine desire to be present, learn, and grow as part of the group, leaving a lasting impression on his peers and instructors.
After completing his finishing course, Lutho sought to progress further. He seized the first opportunity to enroll in a sewing course, where he not only excelled but also mastered the Jet Machine. His proficiency with the machine was so remarkable that he now trains other learners in Caledon on its usage and general settings.
Today, Lutho is working as a trainee mechanic, continuing his journey of growth. From finishing to sewing, and now to mechanics, his drive and determination are truly inspirational.
Lutho’s talents extend beyond his technical abilities. At the recent retirement party for Mr. Choice, Lutho’s incredible singing voice moved everyone as he performed the farewell song. He fondly recalls the talent shows held in class on Fridays as one of his most cherished moments.
We feel honored and blessed to be part of Lutho’s journey. His story exemplifies the power of dedication and the impact of opportunities, and we are excited to see where his ambition takes him next.
