Testimonials
Kingspark Manufacturers CC
TVET SA has been providing Kingspark Manufacturers CC with a full-service skills development solution since 2018.
Our company is situated in rural KwaZulu-Natal, and accredited training interventions are not easily accessible to our staff. TVET SA deployed experienced facilitators to our company to implement credit-bearing skills programmes at team leader and operator level, providing our staff with much needed technical and leadership skills. We also enrolled unemployed youth from the surrounding communities learnerships which contributed to our company’s job creation drive.
With TVET SA as our partner we are addressing our company’s skills needs in line with our strategic growth plan.

We are delighted to have recently partnered with TVET SA on a range of skills development initiatives for both employed and unemployed learners.
Our experience, to date, has been remarkable; from the energy the learners bring to their theory and practical lessons to the facilitators who have a wealth of knowledge and are more than willing to impart the skills they have learnt over the years.
Working to upskill those who are hungry for knowledge is an opportunity we don’t take for granted. Thank you to all of our partners at TVET SA.

Productivity and Training Institute
This serves to give a reference to the effective Supervisory Training that TVET SA (Thandeka) has given to the Clothing Sector in the Western Cape for 20 learners from seven companies who all completed successfully. The programme is being rolled out to all the other provinces of clothing manufacturing because of the positive recommendation from participating students and participating companies.
As the training arm of the sector under the NBC, we are very proud of our relationship with TVET SA which has become our main training service provider for the sector. TVET SA has trained close to 400 learners in the NBC collaboration sectoral projects and is planning to engage in more innovative trainings with TVET SA as the training landscape changes with the evolving of new technologies needing new skills.
We give a thumbs up to the level of training TVETSA has given in our projects and we support their credibility and inclusive approach in making training impactful.

I would like to express my deepest gratitude for your invaluable assistance in organizing the fabrics for our learners. Your contribution is greatly appreciated, and we recognize the immense value it has brought to our programme. The materials have been put to excellent use, and the learners are making remarkable progress under the guidance of the Facilitator.
I cannot overstate how grateful we are to have had the facilitator as part of our team. Her expertise and dedication have made a significant impact on our operations.
In light of this intervention, we are now looking to take the next steps in our small business development. Specifically, we are seeking opportunities for bulk purchasing and diligently working towards implementing the knowledge and skills that were imparted to our team. It is crucial for us to sustain the momentum gained.
Once again, thank you for your generosity and support. Your contributions have played a pivotal role in empowering our learners and assisting us in our small business journey. We look forward to your continued guidance as we strive to achieve our goals.

I trust that this finds you well. We would like to express our gratitude for the honour of participating in an expectional empowering progammme that was well executed to us as Amadansana Pty Ltd. Through your (cross-training) programme and also working with the facilitator, we broadened our horizon and perspective of manufacturing business.
We have grasped so much knowledge and skills such as different designs on patterns for different types of garments, toolbag patterns, respirator bags just to mention a few. We have learned more on different strategic planning and management skills throughout our operations from layouts to completion of garments with efficiency.
We have worked along with the Facilitator here at Sappi Skills Centre(Umkomaas) with ease as he is professional, articulant, understanding and exceptionally good at his work. It was of great pleasure to have worked with him.
